Ergonomic Garden Rake

A practical hobby and lifelong practice should be an effortless task. However, tool design in the market today falls short in the realm of ergonomics and quality usage. There should be a more inclusive durable rake made from more sustainable materials out there!
This project focused on the iterative process of design research. I worked with extreme user groups like professional gardeners from Rhode Island, patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and an orthopedic therapist to finalize my concept for a better gardening rake- one that features an upright handle for better grip and reduced wrist strain.
