Deep Voice

An internalized auditory deep fake that modulates the voice. 

Visual deep fakes provide an uncanny feeling that makes us question what is real or not. The project realizes the same principles of machine learning to enhance the voice with electrical stimulus. 

Electrode implants could be one of the nearest realities we find ourselves in. Electric stimulation releases sodium-potassium action potentials in the nervous system that trigger muscle contraction. Electrodes would be charged with piezoelectric energy from sound and could be implemented across the muscle tissue of the face to trigger enhanced contractions.
