The Image Object was a project prompting an object to exist in real and virtual space. This 3D printed audio head device plays a sound to produce an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR). The piece stands as a medium between our physical reality and digital fabrication, using sound as means to connect our headspace to a sense of comfort and a false sense of escape. The sound piece is dissonant in the compilation of soothing voices.

The sound piece that plays from the two Bluetooth speakers inside the helmet is derived from a compilation and remixing of relaxing ASMR audio. The level of comfort is overwhelming and speaks to the reliance and empty saturation in digital means of empathy.
The cloud offers a form of escape from reality. The idea progressed from the role of digital media and the spaces we go to distract ourselves from other realities.
